Port Byron Apartments

The original apartment complex, a former school building, had fallen into disrepair, and proved to be too costly for rehabilitation. DePaul purchased the property and replaced the dilapidated building with a new 69-unit affordable apartment community.

Port Byron Apartments serves the property’s current tenants, that had long lived in poor conditions, while offering additional units for new renters. Located in a residential area close to local amenities, the new community offers a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom modern and energy efficient apartments. In addition to a community room, lounges, and courtyard, the complex includes an activity room for families.
