Our marketing team has been recognized nationally by the Zweig Group with a 2026 Marketing Excellence Award. The awards celebrate outstanding, results-driven marketing initiatives across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, with entries evaluated on creativity, messaging, design, and measurable impact.
SWBR was honored in the Internal Marketing category for The Hub: A Seamless Move from Custom WordPress to a SharePoint Intranet, a firmwide initiative that transformed the company’s internal communications platform while enhancing the employee experience.
Originally launched shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic, The Hub serves as SWBR’s central destination for company news, resources, tools, and communication. In 2025, a cross-functional team led by the firm’s IT and marketing departments reimagined the platform, migrating it to a Microsoft 365-native SharePoint environment that reduces long-term operating costs, improves usability, and creates a foundation for future innovation.
The team focused on maintaining the familiarity employees relied on while modernizing the technology behind the scenes, preserving navigation patterns and key resources. The result was a seamless transition that required little to no learning curve and enabled new capabilities, including AI-powered tools and enhanced internal collaboration.

Entries were judged by a panel of marketing professionals from across the AEC industry. Marketing Excellence Award winners will be recognized during Zweig Group’s ElevateAEC Conference and featured through Zweig Group publications and communications channels.
