Susan B. Anthony Interpretive Center

A short walk from Susan B. Anthony’s historic home, a new Interpretive Center celebrates her transformative advocacy for women’s rights.

The building’s scale, character, and transparency integrate with the neighborhood fabric, and the entrance invites visitors to experience her message of civic courage. Luminous clerestory windows recall the historic Anthony Carriage House and bring daylight deep into the lobby, event space, and classroom, while the large exhibit space and a secure home for her permanent collection are nestled into the hillside.
