We’re excited to welcome Alli Presutti to our Buffalo office as a Project Designer following her internship with SWBR. Alli supports our Education studio, contributing to higher education and K-12 projects through modeling, diagram creation, and design development.
Drawn to architecture through a lifelong love of art and the creative process, Alli is passionate about the iterative nature of design and the collaboration required to transform ideas into meaningful spaces. During her time at the University at Buffalo, she served as both a Digital Tutor and Teaching Assistant while completing her Master of Architecture degree.
Alli recently earned her M.Arch from the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, where she received the Master of Architecture Chair’s Award. Her thesis, Between Security and Well-Being: Designing Holistic High Schools in the Age of Gun Violence, was recognized with the ARCC/King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural and Environmental Research.
Before joining SWBR full-time, Alli spent her final semester studying abroad in Japan, gaining firsthand exposure to everything from the dense urban fabric of Tokyo to the craftsmanship and building traditions of rural communities. The experience further strengthened her appreciation for the ways architecture reflects culture, place, and human connection.
