We’re pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Greenaker, AIA, to Technology Director. Since joining SWBR in 2018, Josh has advanced from Project Designer to Project Architect, becoming an integral part of the firm’s technological evolution along the way. With a deep understanding of how teams operate, he has a knack for identifying practical solutions that simplify workflows and improve efficiency across offices and disciplines.
Among his most significant accomplishments, Josh led SWBR’s transition to a fully cloud-based environment, bringing data from more than 2,000 active and completed projects into a centralized system. This shift created a more adaptable, connected workplace and laid the groundwork for emerging capabilities, including AI-powered tools. It also strengthened our ability to deliver the responsiveness of a local partner to clients nationwide.

As Technology Director, Josh will guide the digital strategy and resources that support operations while remaining engaged in architectural planning and design across the housing, science and technology, workplace, municipal, and nonprofit sectors. His blend of technical expertise and architectural experience will help shape SWBR’s future, advancing our mission to positively impact the communities where we live and work.
