Hillside Golisano Campus at Crestwood

Transforming a residential campus to nurture healing and growth.

For nearly 200 years, Hillside Children’s Center has served children and families facing complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. As part of a multi-phase master plan for its Golisano Campus at Crestwood, Hillside is overhauling the residential environment to better reflect the needs of the children it serves. Throughout the campus, specialized classrooms, counseling spaces, welcoming gathering areas, and carefully selected materials work together to create an environment that promotes learning and routine. Every element, from calming finishes to seamless indoor-outdoor connections, embodies Hillside’s commitment to providing children with a setting that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
