Aquatic Center

After 40 years, the original Victor CSD pool no longer met the needs of the school’s highly competitive swim and dive teams and heavy public use. SWBR was hired to design a high-performance pool and state-of-the-art support facilities.

A new addition was built, housing a 420,000-gallon, eight-lane pool with diving well. An advanced filtration and UV treatment system keeps the pool water clean and healthy. A computer system monitors its chemical and chlorine levels, and a robotic cleaning system maintains it. Surrounding the pool, new raised tiered seating gives supporters an unobstructed view and additional lifeguard chairs offer greater safety for swimmers. Extra windows and roof monitors flood the pool area with natural light. A cutting-edge air control system controls humidity and eliminates the chlorine smell. New locker rooms and lobby complete the addition.

The Aquatic Center opened in 2014 to very positive reviews summed up by Chris Marshall, VCSD Director of Facilities, “This Aquatic Center is stunning. It looks and functions great! SWBR did a great job guiding us through the entire process, delivering us exactly what everyone needed.”
