Garber Automotive Group is a nationwide auto group operating multiple dealerships in several states. In 2011, Garber came to Rochester, purchasing dealerships from Holtz House of Vehicles. The newly acquired facilities needed to conform exactly to corporate guidelines established by each of the dealership’s respective international brand, and SWBR was hired to implement the required designs.
In all, nine additions were added to the three existing buildings that made up the new Garber Automotive complex. Each building needed its own specific set of alterations, ranging from a coat of paint to a complete reconstruction. Updates included new finishes and furnishings, new facades and showrooms. The Garber team provided new signage, lighting and site amenities to complete the rebranding for each building. Additionally, a new Used Vehicle Sales Facility was constructed.
SWBR worked closely with LeFrois Builders and Garber Automotive to successfully phase construction and manage workflow so Garber could operate during construction. Through constant communication and an open exchange of information, the close-knit team was able to meet aggressive timelines, strict corporate standards and tight budget demands.
