Municipal Practice Leader
Randy has been with SWBR since 1985 and has lead many high profile projects, including a number in the higher education arena. Over recent years his focus has shifted and he now leads our municipal design group, creating functional and efficient spaces for courts, law enforcement, emergency services, courthouses, and other public facilities. He continues to develop solutions that enhance the civic realm and provide a thought-leadership-based approach to programming and planning for County, City, and Town projects. “When it comes to public safety buildings, functionality is just as important as aesthetics. The program has to work well and it has to be efficient and maintainable.” Randy’s goal is to establish SWBR as a go-to firm for municipal facilities improvements, reorganizational studies, and programming.
When Randy isn’t spending time with his two sons or sailing, he is collecting vinyl records. To date, he has over 2,500.
