“I believe meaningful design is the creation of positive value to those impacted by the structure’s creation. I appreciate that the most meaningful aspect of a project can manifest differently to everyone it impacts.”
As part of our Workplace team, Project Architect Peter Foti uses his visualization expertise and passion to add reality to the clients’ vision. His 3D modeling, Revit, and virtual reality skills not only allow the client to visualize their ideas, but enables the team to make even more informed decisions that can positively impact the design and construction process. What excites him about the future is how technology is changing everything, including the way we design and build.
Originally intending on a career in finance but impacted by the financial crisis, Peter took a government job building homes in New Orleans where he developed an appreciation for building and construction assembly. He was hooked on architecture after taking a summer course at Harvard. In addition to his design work at SWBR, he has a wood and plastic shop where he creates awards, toys, and architectural elements.
