SWBR Honored as a Top-Performing Firm
SWBR, formerly SWBR Architects, has been recognized as a top-performing architecture and engineering (A/E) firm by PSMJ Resources Inc, a premier management consulting firm for the A/E industry. SWBR has also been named to the 2017 Zweig Hot Firms List, an annual ranking of the 100 fastest-growing firms nationwide in the architecture, engineering, planning and environmental consulting industry.
SWBR is one of only 73 firms nationally that was ranked on PSMJ’s exclusive Circle of Excellence for its proven business achievement in the industry. The Circle of Excellence represents the top 20 percent of participants in PSMJ’s annual A/E Financial Benchmark Survey, based on 13 key performance metrics, including profitability, overhead management, cash flow, productivity, business development, staff growth, lack of turnover and others.
The Hot Firm rankings are based 50 percent on the percentage of growth rate and 50 percent on dollar revenue growth rate over the previous three-year period. Over the past three years, SWBR’s revenue has increased 53 percent to over $18 million between the Rochester headquarters and Syracuse office.
The firm employs over 95 staff companywide; over 90 are based in Rochester and six in Syracuse.
Additionally, the firm has earned rankings on several other national, regional and local lists including: ranking number one on the RBJ Architectural Firm List in Rochester, Engineering News Record’s New York Top Design Firms of 2017, Building Design and Construction Top Architecture Firms and Top Multifamily Architectural Firm, Architectural Record’s Top Design Firms, the Rochester Top 100 and the RBJ People’s Choice Best Architecture Firm.
