SWBR prepared alternative conceptual plans for improvement of the rear yard of this private country residence. The preferred layout includes a stone terrace, stone walls, stone stairs, new furnishings, a grilling area, sitting niches, planters, a new kitchen entrance, an improved stairwell to the basement, and plantings. The terrace will provide the owner with a new outdoor living space and, with the removal of a nearby barn, will feature dramatic long views of meadows and woodlands to the south.
