For over 15 years Mark has been a structural engineer with SWBR and has been the Group Coordinator since 2000. His project responsibilities include the design of structural systems, integration and coordination with architects and consultants, and construction administration for academic, industrial, commercial and residential buildings. He oversees a structural design staff of four within the firm.
He has worked on such notable projects, and received recognition for, the Gannett Rochester Newspapers Printing & Distribution Center, winner of several local and regional awards, multiple college and university buildings at the University of Rochester, Roberts Wesleyan College, Cornell University, the Rochester Institute of Technology and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He has also been involved with much of the K-12 work the firm has designed at the Rochester City School District, Marcellus, Fairport and South Seneca School Districts.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is involved in many professional organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineering Institute, American Concrete Institute and the American Institute of Steel Construction.
