Saatchi, Saatchi and Rowland

Nicknamed "hothouse on the hill", the office space for Saatchi & Saatchi, was designed to foster creative energy in the workplace. The "office without walls" is broken down into different neighborhoods - the Adirondacks, a city park, a beach cabana, a piazza and a 1960's Airstream trailer that serves as a conference room. SWBR developed a point of view from design boards and sketches coupled with a landscape architect to create an urban landscape complete with landmarks and views. This unique approach coupled with attention to program and detail resulted in a space that turned the project into an innovative and exciting world-class use of space that met the client's needs within a very challenging set of budget constraints.
