Thomas R. Gears

Tom is Secretary of the Board of Directors of SWBR Architects & Engineers, P.C. He received a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science from Kent State University.

Tom is a multi-talented architect. He is a skilled designer and has developed a particular expertise in managing complex projects. As a principal his responsibilities include budget and schedule control, project planning, client liaison, consultant coordination and quality control. His skills in organization, communication and design enable him to clearly capture and develop client needs into efficient design solutions.

He has developed a focused specialty in independent, assisted, and long-term care facilities. With this background he can speak to, and design, senior environments that capture the residential look and feel today's marketplace is demanding.
